Joshua Jobe, a cornerback with the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League, was born on April 9, 1998. He participated in Alabama’s collegiate football program, where he won the national title in 2020.

Jobe attended Christopher Columbus High School while growing up in Miami, Florida. He initially made a commitment to play collegiate football at the University of Miami, where he was a four-star prospect.

Due to being deemed too old to play high school football in Florida, Jobe relocated to Cheshire Academy in Cheshire, Connecticut, before his final year. In December 2017, Jobe also reopened his recruiting and changed his mind about Alabama.



As a reserve defensive back in 14 games as a true freshman, Jobe recorded eight total tackles. During his sophomore season, he participated in 12 games, making two starts, one of which was the 2020 Citrus Bowl.

He finished the year with 28 tackles, one interception, and three passes broken up. Before the start of his junior year, Jobe was designated as the cornerback starter.

Jobe was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles on April 30 as an undrafted free agent after going undrafted in the 2022 NFL Draft. Along with Josh Sills and Reed Blankenship, he was one of three 2022 undrafted players to make the Eagles’ final roster.
