The Philadelphia Eagles selected Sweat in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft (130th overall). In a deal that sent Sam Bradford to the Minnesota Vikings, the Eagles received the 130th overall pick.

On December 11, 2018, he was put on injured reserve. Sweat participated in 14 games in 2020, including three starts. He accumulated six sacks, 38 tackles, and three forced fumbles. The injury reserve was activated on December 26, 2020.
