Joshua Bledsoe is an American football safety who currently plays for the New England Patriots in the National Football League. He was born on December 30, 1998.
His college football career was spent at Missouri. Bledsoe received his secondary education in Harris County, Texas, at Dekaney High School.
In high school, he was a member of the football team, where he played safety, cornerback, and running back. In order to participate in collegiate football,
he has made a commitment to the University of Missouri. Bledsoe was a player for the University of Missouri from 2017 to 2020.
Over the course of his career, he played in 46 games and finished with 130 tackles, one interception, and one sack. The New England Patriots selected Bledsoe in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft,
making him the 188th overall pick in the draft. On May 13, 2021, he put his name on a rookie contract that was good for four years.
At the beginning of training camp on July 21, 2021, he was placed on the active/non-football injury list as a precautionary measure.
He will begin the season on the reserve list after being selected for it. On December 14th, he was sent into active duty. On the 30th of December, due to an injury to his calf, he was placed on an injured reserve.
