Jovani Moran happens to be a professional baseball player currently in the major leagues and plays as a pitcher for the Minnesota Twins baseball team. He is 1.85 m tall and weighs 76 kg.
He was born and raised on April 24, 1997, in Mayagüez in Puerto Rico. Before he began playing baseball professionally, he played baseball in his birth town and also in school. He was drafted in the 2015 MLB draft by the Minnesota Twins in the seventh-round draft. He signed with them and began his professional career that year with the Gulf Coast Twins.
He did not play in 2016 because he was injured. When he resumed in 2017, he was assigned to play with the Elizabethton Twins. He was assigned to spend the 2018 season with both the Cedar Rapids Kernels and Fort Myers Miracle. In 2019, he was with both the Pensacola Blue Wahoos and Gulf Coast Twins.
He played in the 2019 off-season in the Arizona Fall League. He did not play a minor league game in 2020 as the season was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. During the 2021 season, he played with the Wichita Wind Surge and was promoted during the season to the St. Paul Saints. He was promoted to the major leagues for the first time in September 2021 and he made his MLB debut on September 12 2021.
