He was reared in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, and was born on April 24, 1997. In his hometown and at school, he played baseball before transitioning to the professional game. The Minnesota Twins selected him in the seventh round of the 2015 MLB Draft. He signed a contract with them that year, and the Gulf Coast Twins became his major league debut team.

He sustained an injury that kept him out of the 2016 campaign. He was given the Elizabethton Twins to play with when he returned in 2017. He participated in the 2021 season with the Wichita Wind Surge before being moved to the St. Paul Saints in the midst of the year. He received his first big league promotion.
