Juan Soto Children: Does Juan Soto Have Kids?

While his promotion was based on his performance, the Nationals were in severe need of healthy people, as OFs Adam Eaton, Brian Goodwin, Victor Robles, and Rafael Bautista, among others, were all on the disabled list.

On May 20th, he made his major league debut, striking out against Erik Goeddel as a pinch-hitter. He blasted a three-run home run against San Diego Padres pitcher Robbie Erlin the next day.

Harper had been the last adolescent to hit a home run in the majors. He became only the third youngster, behind Hall of Famers Mel Ott and Ken Griffey, Jr., to hit two home runs in an away game on June 13th.

He was performing so well that the Nats kept him on the roster and used him on a regular basis even after Eaton and Goodwin returned from injury.

In fact, when he hit in June, he was named the National League Rookie of the Month. 317 batting average, 19 runs batted in, six doubles, six home runs, and 15 RBIs In 19 games, he also drew 18 walks, demonstrating exceptional patience at the plate for a guy with such little professional experience.

He won the title again in July, hitting .299 with 5 home runs and 15 RBIs while slugging .564.

Joe Simpson, an Atlanta Braves commentator, questioned Soto’s true age in early August, saying he was too large and strong to be only 19 years old.
