Football player Justin Pugh is well-known for playing guard for the National Football League’s Arizona Cardinals. He stands 1.96 meters tall and weighs 141 kilograms. At Council Rock High School South in Holland, Pennsylvania, where he attended high school, he played football. He was selected for the defense on the 2008 Pennsylvania Football News All-State Second Team there.
As a defensive lineman and second-team all-area selection as a senior, he also received first-team all-area and All-Suburban One League recognition as a junior and senior. From 2009 to 2012, he participated in collegiate football with the Syracuse Orange squad at Syracuse University.
With 34 games started at the end of his undergraduate career, he earned three Big East Conference All-Star selections. He still had one year of NCAA football eligibility as he entered the 2013 NFL Draft. Pugh was taken by the New York Giants with the number 19 overall pick in the first round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
He signed a four-year deal with the Giants in July 2013. In March 2018, Pugh and the Arizona Cardinals agreed to a five-year, $45 million contract. Right guard, where he made seven starts before suffering a knee injury in Week 10. He was put on injured reserve on November 13th, 2018.
