Justin Reid and Eric Ried

Justin Reid is a fifth-year safety for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He entered the NFL with the Houston Texans in the third round (68th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft and signed a four-year, $4.06 million rookie contract. The safety has since exuded excellence and tenacity in the competitive sport.

Ried started his football career at an early age. He already knew the basics of the game even before second grade.

Ried attended Dutchtown High School in Geismar, Louisiana, where he played high school football. He was not only good at football, but he also participated in other sports as well. He was a member of the track and field and soccer teams. Ried was a key contributor to the football team, as he led the team to three district titles.

After a successful high school career, Ried attended Stanford University, where he played three seasons of college football for the Stanford Cardinal.

Ried made the decision to forego his senior year and enter the 2018 NFL Draft after his junior season in 2017. He finished his career with 170 tackles, six interceptions, and one sack.

Eric Reid and Ryan Reid are the siblings of Justin Ried. The Ried brothers are very passionate about sports. Eric was an All-American at LSU and played professionally for the San Francisco 49ers and Carolina Panthers. He is currently retired. Ryan also played soccer at Coastal Carolina.
