On October 29, 2018, Watson grabbed his first pass, a five-yard reception, in a 37-34 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

On February 4, 2022, Watson agreed to a one-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs, an American football team with their home stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.
