As an offensive tackle with the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League, Kaleb McGary is a professional football player. He stands 2.01 m tall and weighs 139 kg. He attended Battle Ground High School before changing schools to Fife High School, where he participated in offensive line, tight end, and defensive line sports. He made a commitment to play college football at the University of Washington.

He spent four seasons as a college football player for the Washington Huskies. He was selected to the All-Pac-12 first team in 2018 and was awarded the Morris Trophy as the conference’s best offensive guard. In his first season, he began each of the 16 games. He started 13 of the 14 games he played in during the 2020 season.

For the Huskies, he started 47 of the 53 games at right tackle over the course of four seasons. He also participated in 3,216 snaps while only permitting six sacks. The Atlanta Falcons selected McGary with the 31st overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. In the Falcons’ 16 games in 2020, he started 13 of them.

He sustained an injury and left the game in week two against Dallas. Due to a family issue, he had missed five consecutive sessions and was unable to watch Atlanta’s Week 14 loss to the Chargers. McGary’s fifth-year option was not picked up by the Falcons in May 2022.
