A cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League, Kelvin Joseph is a professional football player. He is 89 kilograms and 1.82 meters tall. He played football while a student at Scotlandville Magnet High School. He had 67 tackles, 12 pass breakups, and three interceptions as a junior.
In addition, he made history at Scotlandville by becoming the first player ever chosen to participate in the U.S. Army All-American Game. He was twice awarded to the Baton Rouge Advocate All-Metro Team and twice selected to the first team 5A All-State. He was one of the top defensive backs in the class of 2018 right out of high school.
As a member of the LSU Tigers at Louisiana State University, he played collegiate football. As a freshman, he participated in 11 games and had 12 tackles while also breaking up one pass. He applied online through the transfer site the next year to transfer to the University of Kentucky. Because of NCAA transfer policies, he missed the whole 2019 season.
He made nine starts as a sophomore before deciding to forego playing in the regular-penultimate season’s game against South Carolina in 2020. When it was all said and done, he had 25 tackles, four interceptions, a PBU, and a tackle for loss. Nine games at UK and eleven at LSU comprised his 20 collegiate appearances. Dallas Cowboys made Joseph their second-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
