Kenneth Golladay, a wide receiver with the National Football League’s New York Giants, was born on November 3, 1993.

He was selected by the Detroit Lions in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft after playing college football for North Dakota and Northern Illinois. With the Lions in 2019, he set a record most touchdown receptions in the NFL.

St. Rita High School in Chicago is where Golladay went to school and played football in high school. For his senior year, he was named to the Blue Division’s All-Catholic League first team.

In 2012, Golladay enrolled at North Dakota to start his college career. Golladay has 30 receptions for 429 yards and a score as a rookie. Golladay had a breakthrough year as a sophomore in 2013, recording a team-high 69 catches for 884 yards and eight touchdowns.

Golladay accepted his invitation to participate in the 2017 East-West Shrine Game[9], however it was revealed on December 23 that he would not be able to due to an elbow injury he sustained during Senior Bowl practice.

58 wide receivers from colleges attended the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana, including him. Golladay’s performance was only average; he placed 26th in the three-cone drill and 20th overall among wide receivers in the 40-yard dash.

Golladay went to Northern Illinois’ pro day on March 10, 2017, but he decided to stand on his combine stats and merely participate in positional drills.

In front of scouts and team representatives from 18 NFL teams, he did well and caught every pass. Golladay was the star of the Huskies’ pro day, despite the presence of 13 other prospects.

He joined the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions, Pittsburgh Steelers, and New Orleans Saints for private workouts and visits.

Golladay was predicted by NFL draft analysts and scouts to be selected in the fourth or fifth round at the completion of the pre-draft process. NFLDraftScout.com graded him as the 21st best wide receiver in the draft.

On July 29, 2020, the Lions placed Golladay on the reserve/COVID-19 list. A week later, he was activated.

Golladay’s hamstring ailment kept him out of the first two games.

He came back against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 3. Golladay participated in the 26-23 victory by catching six catches for 57 yards and his first receiving touchdown of the year.

He has four receptions for 105 receiving yards in Week 6’s 34-16 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. In Week 7’s 23-22 victory over the Atlanta Falcons, Golladay had six receptions for 114 yards.
