Kent Emanuel is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB). He played college baseball for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and made his MLB debut with the Houston Astros in 2021.

74th overall in the 2013 MLB draft, the Houston Astros selected Emanuel by them in the third round.

While playing with the GCL Astros, he tossed a complete-game shutout in 2013. He played for the Quad Cities River Bandits and the Lancaster JetHawks in 2014, going 9–7 with a 4.21 ERA in 124 innings for each team.

During his time with the Corpus Christi Hooks in 2015, he was 1-1 with a 3.68 ERA in 14+2/3 innings of work.

It wasn’t until 2016 that he returned to Corpus Christi, and in 82+2/3 innings that year, he was 6-4 with a 5.23 ERA. While pitching for the Corpus Christi and Fresno organizations in 2017, he compiled a record of 6–7 with a 5.72 earned run average.

Fresno was his home for the 2018 season when he was 5-4 with a 5.59 ERA in 83+2/3 innings pitched.

Over 101+2/3 innings, Emanuel was 8-2 with a 3.90 ERA with the Round Rock Express of the Class AAA Pacific Coast League in 2019.
