Kolby Allard is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Atlanta Braves.



At No. 14, he was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 2015 MLB draft. On August 13, 1997, Kenny and Kristi Allard welcomed their first child, Kolby, into the world in Anaheim, California. He has an older brother.

In San Clemente, California, Allard went to San Clemente High School. In 62+23 innings pitched as a junior, he had a 1.32 ERA and 98 strikeouts.

As part of the Perfect Game All-American Classic, he was voted MVP after striking out the whole team in the inning he threw.

Later in the season, he played for the 18U National Team of the United States of America (USA). After suffering a stress fracture in his back, Allard’s senior season came to an abrupt stop.

Allard was expected to go in the first ten picks of the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft before he got hurt. He’s committed to the UCLA Bruins to play baseball in college.
