Kolten Wong

Kolten Kaha Wong (born October 10, 1990) is a Major League Baseball second baseman for the Milwaukee Brewers (MLB). He formerly played for the Cardinals in St. Louis. In 2013, he made his MLB debut. Wong bats and throws with his left hand.

Wong, who grew up in Hilo, Hawaii, played baseball for Kamehameha Hawaii High School and the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Wong was drafted in the first round of the 2011 Main League Baseball draft by the St. Louis Cardinals, and he was promoted to the major leagues two years later. In May of 2014, he was awarded the National League Rookie of the Month.

The Cardinals rejected Wong’s player option for the 2021 season in the summer of 2020, making him a free agent for the first time in his career. After that, he joined Milwaukee.

Kolten Wong Parents: Meet Kaha Wong and Keala Wong

Kolten Wong, a well-known baseball player, was raised by his parents, Kaha Wong and Keala Wong.
Keala, Wong’s mother, had been putting up a fight against cancer for a very long period but ultimately prevailed. However, following that, her condition deteriorated even more.

The tragic loss of Keala sent the young second baseman into an emotional “spiral” that he has fought against during his whole six-year career in Major League Baseball.
