As a pitcher for the Cleveland Guardians baseball team, Konnor Pilkington goes by the full name Konnor Chase Pilkington. On September 12, 1997, Mitzy and Ron Pilkington welcomed a son named Konnor into the world in Mississippi, America.

At East Central High School in Moss Point, Mississippi, he played baseball during his senior year in high school. He signed up to play college baseball at Mississippi State University after graduating from high school. Before receiving his degree from the university, he played baseball for the Brewster Whitecaps in the Cape Cod Baseball League.

He was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the third round of the 2018 MLB Draft. He accepted to play for them and agreed to a signing bonus of $650,000. That year, he made his professional debut with the Rookie-level Arizona League White Sox before moving up to the Rookie Advanced Pioneer League’s Great Falls Voyagers.

He played with the Kannapolis Intimidators of the Class A South Atlantic League for the 2019 season before being transferred to the Winston-Salem Dash of the Class A-Advanced Carolina League throughout the campaign.

He missed the 2020 season since it was postponed due to the COVID-19 epidemic. In 2021, he was a member of the Double-A South’s Birmingham Barons. In July of that same year, the White Sox traded him to the Cleveland Indians. On April 15, 2022, Konnor made his Major League Baseball debut for the Cleveland Guardians.
