Football offensive tackle Korey Cunningham plays for the National Football League’s New York Giants. He is 1.98 m tall and 141 kg in weight. He participated in football for the Montevallo High School team as a student there. According to Scout.com and 247Sports.com, he was a three-star prospect and one of the top 60 tight ends in the country.
He participated in collegiate football for the University of Cincinnati’s Cincinnati Bearcats team. In 2013, he redshirted his actual rookie year. He started 12 games at left tackle as a sophomore in 2015, appearing in nine of them. This marked his first significant game action in 2016. He was a second-team All-American Athletic Conference pick as a senior.
When he was a student at Cincinnati, he participated in 33 games, starting 24 of them at left tackle. With the 254th overall pick, the Arizona Cardinals selected Cunningham in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He signed his rookie contract in May 2018 and debuted in Week 11 of the regular season against the Oakland Raiders. In an August trade, the New England Patriots acquired him.
The Patriots cut him loose in August. Cunningham was a practice squad member for the New York Giants beginning in September 2021. The Giants re-signed him in March 2022; however, he was released from his contract in July 2022 due to an injury that was not related to football.
