Kris Bubic is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Kansas City Royals of Major League Baseball (MLB).

He went 8-2 with a 0.89 ERA as a junior and 1.20 ERA and 82 strikeouts in 70 innings thrown as a junior at Archbishop Mitty High School.

After he was not selected in the 2015 Major League Baseball Draft, he chose to attend Stanford University and play collegiate baseball for the Cardinals.

Bubic had a 3.26 ERA in 21 appearances as a freshman in 2016 for the Cardinal (six starts).

As a sophomore in 2017, he made 15 starts and pitched in 90 innings, going 7–6 with a 2.79 ERA and striking out 96 batters.

During his time with Idaho Falls, Bubic pitched to a 2–3 record and a 4.03 earned run average. The Lexington Legends were Bubic’s first opponents of 2019.
