Kyle Richard Freeland is one of the professional baseball players known to play for the Colorado Rockies baseball team. He serves as a pitcher and earns an average annual salary of $12. 9 million.

He was born on May 14, 1993, in the city of Denver, Colorado in the USA. As an amateur baseball player, he played for his high school baseball team at Thomas Jefferson High School in his birth town. During the 2011 MLB draft, he was drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the 35th round of the draft but he did not sign with them.

He then enrolled at the University of Evans Ville where he played college baseball for the University’s baseball team. Whiles in college, he played collegiate summer baseball in the Cape Cod League with the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. After his university career, the Colorado Rockies selected him in the 1st round of the 2014 MLB draft.

The Rockies promoted him to the major leagues for the first time in April 2017 and he made his MLB debut for them on April 7, 2017, when they faced the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was the starting pitcher in the 2018 National League Wild Card Game.
