Kyle Alexander Lewis, an American outfielder, competes for the Seattle Mariners in Major League Baseball. In Snellville, Georgia, the United States, on July 13, 1995, Charles and Ruth Lewis welcomed him into the world.

Lewis attended Shiloh High School in Snellville, Georgia. He played baseball and basketball in high school. He chose to play baseball over basketball while attending Mercer University, where he played for the Bears.

He was selected the 2015 Southern Conference Baseball Player of the Year and shared the Gregg Olson Award, which was given to the college baseball player of the year. In 2016, he also received recognition as the Division I National Player of the Year from Baseball America and the American Baseball Coaches Association. He also won the Southern Conference Baseball Player of the Year award for a second consecutive year.

The Seattle Mariners selected Lewis with the 111th overall pick in the 2016 MLB Draft. In his first season as a professional, he only participated in 30 games with the Everett AquaSox due to a right ACL injury. He participated in 2017 with the AZL Mariners and the Modesto Nuts.

In 2018, he took part in matches for the Modesto and Arkansas Travelers. He was promoted to the major leagues by the Mariners on September 10, 2019, and he made his MLB debut on that same day. In 2020, Lewis became the first Mariners player to be selected for the American League Rookie of the Year award since 2001.
