A tight end for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League, Kyle Pitts is a professional football player. He stands 1.98 meters tall and weighs 111 kilograms. Prior to transferring to Archbishop Wood Catholic High School, he first attended Abington Senior High School. On the football squad, he was a tight end and defensive end.

After graduating from high school, he went on to the University of Florida where he played collegiate football for the Florida Gators. In his true freshman year at Florida in 2018, he participated in 11 games. He had three receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown when the season was over. He takes over as the tight end’s starter in 2019.

In his sophomore season, he played in all 13 games and hauled in 54 passes for 649 yards and 5 touchdowns. He was selected for the SEC’s First Team for the year. In addition to being chosen as an undisputed All-American, he won the John Mackey Award for the finest tight end in college football for the 2020 campaign.

During the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Pitts was taken by the Atlanta Falcons. His 68 receptions for 1,026 yards and a TD brought an end to the 2021 season. As the first rookie at his position to be chosen for the Pro Bowl since Jeremy Shockey in 2002, he will play in the game in 2022.
