Kyle Pitts is in his second season with the Atlanta Falcons of the NFL. He was originally drafted by the Falcons in the 2019 NFL draft, which was in the first round with the fourth overall selection.

His selection makes him the highest-drafted tight end in NFL history. On June 29, 2021, he put pen to paper on a rookie contract that was worth $32.9 million over four years.

Kyle Pitts’s career started in high school. Prior to enrolling at Archbishop Wood Catholic High School in Warminster, Pennsylvania in 2016, Pitts was a student at the Abington Senior High School, which was located in Abington, Pennsylvania.

Pitts was a two-way player on the team. He played both tight end and defensive end. In 2018, Pitts was a participant in the Under Armour All-America Game.

Pitt continued his career at the University of Florida and played for the Gators from 2018–2020.

In his first year as a true freshman at Florida in 2018, Pitts was a backup and appeared in 11 games. At the end of the season, he finished with three receptions, one score, and 73 yards receiving.   He became the starting tight end in 2019.
