Kyler Murray, full name Kyler Cole Murray happens to be a professional football quarterback in the National Football League. He plays for the Arizona Cardinals. He is 1.78 m tall. He weighs 94 kg. He played high school football at Allen High School where he attended. During his senior year in high school, he was awarded with the Gatorade Football Player of the Year.
His squad won 43 straight games and three straight state championships. He enrolled at Texas A&M University, where he spent a year playing collegiate football. He announced in December 2015 that he would be changing colleges and enrolling at the University of Oklahoma for the remainder of his undergraduate studies.
He had two passing touchdowns and 308 passing yards against Alabama in the 2018 Orange Bowl, which the Sooners lost 45-34. He became only the third recipient of the Heisman Trophy to not get unanimous All-American recognition. The Arizona Cardinals selected Murray as the first overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
He agreed to a four-year, $35.2 million rookie deal with the Cardinals on May 9, 2019. He had 3,787 passing yards, 24 passing touchdowns, and 10 interceptions at the end of the regular season in 2021. He also had 88 carries for 423 rushing yards and 5 rushing touchdowns in 14 games. Murray agreed to a five-year, $230.5 million contract extension with the Cardinals in July 2022.
