Lachavious Simmons participates in American football for the National Football League’s Arizona Cardinals as an offensive tackle and guard. He stands 1.96 m tall and weighs 143 kg. He played football and went to Selma High School. At Tennessee State University, he was a member of the Tennessee State Tigers football team. As a junior left guard, he made six starts.
He started 12 games in 2019 at left guard and left tackle, contributing to an offense that gained an average of more than 400 yards per contest. He was chosen for the Ohio Valley Conference’s first team. He took part in the Hula Bowl all-star game as well. In the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Simmons was taken by the Chicago Bears with the 227th overall choice.
He signed a four-year rookie deal in July 2021 to become a team member. The next day, he was added to the practice squad after being removed from the roster as part of the September final cuts. He was included in the group of players on November 3, 2020. After adding him to the reserve list and COVID-19 list, the squad activated him in November 2020.
After being released by the Bears in August 2022, he joined the practice squad the following day. The company fired him on September 12, 2022. On September 20, 2022, Simmons joined up to be a member of the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad.
