Vander Esch was chosen by the Dallas Cowboys as the third linebacker overall in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. A four-year, fully guaranteed contract worth $11.84 million with a $6.69 million signing bonus was signed by the Cowboys and Vander Esch in May 2018.
