In his last two years with the Hatters, the towering right-hander from Apopka, FL has been outstanding, going 10-0, 2.02 in 2017 and 11-2, 2.72 in 2018.

In 2019, he began his professional career with the West Virginia Power of the South Atlantic League, then the Modesto Nuts of the California League, and ultimately the Arkansas Travelers of the AA Texas League, pitching with three separate teams.
His ERA was significantly below 2.00 in the first two levels, prompting his promotion, and was still 2.88 at AA. Overall, he did nothing to dim his reputation as a top prospect, going 10-5 with a 2.13 ERA in 16 games as a starter.
