Luis Amado García (born January 30, 1987) is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the San Diego Padres. He is 6 feet 2 inches tall.

He was a member of the Philadelphia Phillies, Los Angeles Angels, Texas Rangers, and St. Louis Cardinals in the past. García was signed as an amateur free agent by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2004 when he was 16 years old.

On July 9, 2013, he was called up to the MLB for the first time. The next day, García made his major league debut against the Washington Nationals at Citizens Bank Park. On that day, he relieved Phillies ace Cliff Lee and pitched one scoreless inning.

García signed a minor league agreement with the Texas Rangers on January 9, 2020, which included an invitation to Spring Training. García was called up to the major league roster on August 18, 2020.

García was designated for assignment on September 15 after posting a 7.56 ERA in 11 games. On September 17, García was given free agency. García signed a minor league contract with the New York Yankees organization on December 12, 2020.

To begin the 2021 season, he was sent to the Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders. García was 12–2 with a 3.63 ERA in 18 games with Scranton. On July 6, the Yankees gave him his release.
