Mexican professional baseball player Luis Fernando Uras Figueroa plays infield for the Milwaukee Brewers in Major League Baseball. For the San Diego Padres, he made his MLB debut.

In December 2013, Urias agreed to a free-agent contract with the San Diego Padres. He played second and third base for both teams’ combined 45 games in 2014, batting .297 with no home runs and 14 batted in.

He played once again for the Yaquis de Obregon of the Mexican Pacific Winter League in the winter of 2015–16, batting .280 with no home runs and 11 RBIs in 36 games.

Urias spent most of 2016 playing for the Class A+ Lake Elsinore Storm. In 120 games, he batted .330 with five home runs (his first in the minors), 52 RBIs, a.397 on-base, and a .836 on-base percentage.

He briefly filled in for players chosen for the All-Star Futures Game in July, appearing in three games for the El Paso Chihuahuas of the Class AAA Pacific Coast League while batting 9-for-15 with one home run.
