Luke Williams, also known as Captain America, is a well-known American professional baseball utility player for the Miami Marlins. His real name is Lucas Daniel Williams. He is 1.85 meters tall.

He played high school baseball at Dana Hills High School, where he was selected to the 2015 Cal-Hi Sports Second Team All-State. He was chosen by the Philadelphia Phillies in the third round of the 2015 MLB Draft. The company gave him a $719,800 signing bonus when he joined.

He debuted in the professional world that year with the Gulf Coast League Phillies. In 2016, he was assigned to play with the Low-A Williamsport Crosscutters. In 2017 and 2018, he played for the Single-A Lakewood BlueClaws and the High-A Clearwater Threshers, respectively. During the 2019 minor league season, he played for the Reading Fightin Phils of the AA Eastern League.

Due to the postponement of the 2020 minor league season, he was unable to participate. He played for the Adelaide Giants in the Australian Baseball Season’s winter league. After being named the best all-around athlete in the Philadelphia Phillies’ minor league system prior to that year, he was given the assignment to spend the 2021 season with the Class AAA Lehigh Valley IronPigs.

He made his MLB debut with the Phillies on June 8, 2021. He was transferred to the San Francisco Giants in March 2022, and in May of that same year, the Giants traded him to the Miami Marlins.
