Manny Jones, a defensive tackle with the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League, is a representative of the United States. He stands 1.93 m tall and weighs 132 kg. While a student at Woodland High School, he played football for the school’s Wolfpack team. In addition to being named the 2016 Georgia Region 7A Co-Defensive Player of the Year, he was named to the first team All-State in 2016.
After graduating from high school, he went to Colorado State University and played football for the Colorado State Rams. As a true freshman in 2017, he played in all 12 games and made one start, recording 35 tackles, six tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks.
With 54 tackles and 5.0 sacks in 2019, including a three-sack performance at Wyoming, he achieved career highs. He also made ten appearances, starting eight of them. He started each of the Rams’ four games in a cut-down 2020 campaign, earning honorable mention All-Mountain West Conference recognition. He started all 12 games as a senior in 2021 and finished with 45 tackles, 2.5 sacks, six tackles for loss, and one fumble recovery.
In 49 career games over five seasons, he concluded his collegiate career with 181 tackles, 13.5 sacks, 33 tackles for loss, one interception, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. In the 2022 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals signed him as an undrafted free agent.
