A cornerback for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League, Marco Wilson is a professional football player. He is 1.83 m tall and 87 kg in weight. He played football for the school’s football team, American Heritage School. Despite receiving offers from other universities, he decided to play collegiate football at Florida.



From 2017 through 2020, he competed in college football for the Florida Gators at the University of Florida. He made 34 tackles and 10 passes that were broken up as a true freshman. Prior to the start of his sophomore year, he received third-team All-SEC honors. Sadly, he suffered an ACL tear two games into the season and redshirted the remainder.

He recorded 36 tackles, 2.5 tackles for a loss, 3 interceptions, and 2 passes broken up while wearing a redshirt as a sophomore. On December 12, 2020, while he was a junior, he had a notable incident where he threw a shoe in celebration during a game, which led to an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.

Wilson was selected by the Arizona Cardinals with the 136th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He committed to the Cardinals by signing a four-year rookie deal in May 2021. He was the starting cornerback as the 2021 season got underway. In 14 games with 13 starts, he finished the season with 48 tackles, two forced fumbles, and two interceptions.
