NFL free safety Marcus Epps plays for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League. He is 1.83 m tall and 90 kg in weight. He played football when a student at Edison High School in Huntington Beach, California. He attended the University of Wyoming, and from 2014 to 2017, he was a member of the Wyoming Cowboys football team.
He was a key playmaker in 2017, not just for the Cowboys but also for the Mountain West Conference. He made 68 tackles in total, including 42 solo stops and 26 assists, for the season. Along with forcing four fumbles over his career, he has also intercepted 22 passes. At Wyoming, he declared a communication major.
Epps was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, 191st overall. In November 2019, a month after his release, the Philadelphia Eagles picked him up off waivers and signed him. He made his first career interception in Week 15’s game against the Arizona Cardinals thanks to a ball from Kyler Murray. He was included in the COVID list on January 3, 2022. After missing just one game in which the Eagles did not start their starters, he was reinstated one week later.
