Marcus Epps

Marcus Epps is an American football free safety for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Wyoming.

Epps was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. The selection placed him 191st overall. On November 6, 2019, he was released from his obligations.

The Philadelphia Eagles decided to take a chance on Epps and grab him off waivers on November 7, 2019.

On November 5, 2020, the team placed Epps on the reserve/COVID-19 list. He was brought back into the fold on November 18, 2020.

During the game against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 15, Epps picked off a ball thrown by Kyler Murray to earn the first interception of his career. The game ended in a loss by a score of 33–26.

On January 3, 2022, Epps was included on the COVID list as a suspect in this case. On January 10, a week later, he was activated after missing just one game (a game in which the Eagles did not play their starters) due to his injury.
