He was born on November 20, 1998, in Bayamón, a Puerto Rican neighbourhood. He was taken by the Milwaukee Brewers in the second round of the 2016 MLB Draft. He signed with them and began his professional career with the Arizona League Brewers. For the 2017 season, he was handed the Wisconsin Timber to play for.
During the 2018 season, he played for both the Carolina Mudcats and the Arizona League Brewers. He took part in 104 games all during the season. During the off-season, he played in the Arizona Fall League. Since the minor league season had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 epidemic, he missed all of the games in 2020.
He was added to the Brewers’ 40-man roster after the 2020 campaign, and in 2021 he received his first promotion to the major leagues. He made his Major League Baseball debut with the franchise on May 1, 2021, against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
