Mark Mathias, full name Mark Andrew Mathias is one of the professional baseball players currently with the Milwaukee Brewers baseball team. He plays as an infielder for the team and earns an average annual salary of $700,000.
Mark was born on August 2, 1994, in Santa Clara, California in the l United States of America. He played high school baseball at Irvington High School located in Fremont, California. After high school, he was undrafted by any team so he enrolled at the California Polytechnic State University where he played college baseball.
In 2014, he was part of those chosen to play in the 2014 USA Collegiate National Team. He was drafted in 2015 by the Cleveland Indians in the third round of the 2015 MLB draft. He signed with them and made his professional debut that year with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers.
During the 2016 season, he was made to play for both the Lynchburg Hillcats and the Akron RubberDucks. He spent the 2017 and 2018 minor league seasons with the Akron RubberDucks. He spent 2019 with the Columbus Clippers and was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers in November 2019. The Brewers added him to their 40-man roster that year and he made his MLB debut for the Brewers on August 4, 2020.
