As a professional football player for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League, Markquese Bell occupies the position of safety. He was born in Bridgeton, New Jersey on January 6, 1999, in the United States. He is 1.9 m tall and 93 kg in weight. He attended Bridgeton High School, where he also participated in football.

He chose to play collegiate football at Maryland over offers from Ohio State, Rutgers, and Virginia because he was a four-star recruit coming out of high school. He enrolled early in the team and started his college career at Maryland. Due to a breach of the team’s behavior policy, he was suspended prior to the start of his rookie season.

Then, without ever donning a Terrapins uniform, he decided to leave school. He later transferred schools and spent the 2018 season at Coffeyville Community College, where he had 52 tackles and two interceptions. After the season, he transferred to Florida A&M to finish out his remaining collegiate eligibility. While there, he played for the Florida A&M Rattlers football team.

In 2019 and 2021, he was named to the First Team All-MEAC and First Team All-SWAC. Bell agreed to a non-drafted free agent contract with the Dallas Cowboys on May 1, 2022. He was included in the Cowboys’ 53-man active roster following training camp.
