Markquese Bell plays safety for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League as a professional football player. He was born in Bridgeton, New Jersey, in the United States. He weighs 93 kg and stands 1.9 m tall. He went to Bridgeton High School, where he played football as well. Because he was a four-star prospect coming out of high school, he choose Maryland over offers from Ohio State, Rutgers, and Virginia to play collegiate football.
He joined the team early and began his undergraduate career at Maryland. Prior to the start of his first season, he was suspended for violating the team’s conduct policy. He eventually left the institution, never donning a Terrapins uniform. His 2018 season was spent at Coffeyville Community College, where he had 52 tackles and two interceptions after transferring later.
He transferred to Florida A&M after the season to finish out his remaining collegiate eligibility. He played football at Florida for the Florida A&M Rattlers team. In 2019 and 2021, he was selected for the First Team All-MEAC and First Team All-SWAC, respectively. As an undrafted free agent, Bell agreed to a deal with the Dallas Cowboys on May 1, 2022. He was a member of the Cowboys’ initial 53-man roster after training camp.
