Marlon Davidson is an American football defensive end for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League.
On May 11, 1998, Marlon Davidson was born in Greenville, Alabama, in the United States. His brother, Kenneth Carter, played football for Auburn and is currently a member of the Tigers’ staff.
Five-star prospect Marlon Davidson was heavily scouted after graduating from high school. At Auburn, he played collegiate football. Marlon made the All-SEC freshman team and became the first Auburn rookie to start on the defensive line since 1985.

His mother is the late Cynthia Carter. The blood clot in her right leg caused complications, which led to her death on February 23, 2015, at the age of 47.
According to Davidson’s aunt, Debra Moorer, the cause of death was the blood clot that was travelling to her heart rather than the fall that had been initially reported after she collapsed and injured her head while leaving an emergency care facility.
When his mother passed away, Davidson, a junior in high school, moved in with Moorer. His voice quivers as he muses about the tragedy.
“It was kind of crazy because my mama was perfect, at least I felt,” Davidson said. “I felt like she was in good health because she always showed that she was smiling and happy, dancing and energetic. That’s where I get my beautiful smile,” he had said in a previous interview.
