Marlon Mack previously played college football at South Florida and was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL draft.
He is an American football running back for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). From 2014 through 2016, Mack attended and played collegiate football for the University of South Florida.
He tied the school record with 275 running yards in his debut game at South Florida during his freshman year in 2014. On 202 carries for 1,041 rushing yards and nine touchdowns in 12 starts, he set a freshman record for USF.
Mack was chosen by the Indianapolis Colts in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft (143rd overall). Mack was the 15th running back selected in 2017 and the first running back to come out of the University of South Florida.
He was the 28th player from USF to be chosen in the NFL draft’s history. Mack ran 25 times for 174 yards in the season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers, including a career-long 63-yard touchdown run in the 24-30 overtime loss. The Colts defeated the Atlanta Falcons 27-24 in Week 3 thanks to Mack’s 16 carries for 74 yards and a score.
Mack ran 29 times for 132 yards and grabbed three catches for 16 yards in a 19-13 victory in week 5 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
On October 24, 2022, the Denver Broncos signed Mack off the San Francisco 49ers’ practice squad.
