Marvin Wilson is a seasoned defensive tackle with the National Football League’s Philadelphia Eagles. He is 1.93 m tall and weighs 137 kg. He attended Episcopal High School and played collegiate football for the Florida State Seminoles at Florida State University. As a rookie in 2017, he took part in the final 12 games, recording seven tackles, 0.5 for loss, and one quarterback hurry.
He took part in all 12 games in 2018 and made five starts. He had 42 tackles, 4.5 for loss with 3.5 sacks, four quarterback hurries, two pass breakups, and one forced fumble by the time the season was over. While starting the first nine games of the season as team captain, he recorded 44 tackles, including 8.5 for loss, four pass breakups, and two quarterback hurries.
In the first six games of the 2020 season, he played in all six, making five starts. He recorded 17 tackles, two sacks, one yard of loss, two quarterback hurries, and three blocked kicks. Following the 2021 NFL Draft, Wilson signed with the Cleveland Browns in May of that year.
He was released by the Browns in August 2021, and in September of the same year, he joined the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad. He made his NFL debut in a game against the Dallas Cowboys in January 2022. He signed a reserve/future contract with the Eagles on January 18, 2022. In August 2022, he was cut by the Eagles, and the following day, he was signed to the practice squad.
