Matt Breida Parents: Meet Mike Breida and Terri Breida

NFL running back Matthew John Breida was born on February 28, 1995. He now plays for the New York Giants. In 2017, he signed with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent after playing college football at Georgia Southern.

He was a Dolphins player as well. The Hudsons, who took Breida in as their own child, left their old home and moved to Spring Hill, just north of Tampa.

Breida went to high school in nearby Brooksville, Florida, and attended Nature Coast Technical High School. As a high school student, he was a member of the football team known as the Sharks.

Breida was adopted on March 2, 1995, by Terri and Mike Breida, who also adopted Josh. Breida worked as a reader and speaker at elementary schools in two states during his tenure at Georgia Southern.

Due in part to this, he was considered for the Senior Class Award and placed on the Honor Roll. The running back Matt Breida was sent to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a fifth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft from the San Francisco 49ers.

The Dolphins put him on the reserve/COVID-19 list on December 4, 2020, and activated him on December 16, 2020. Breida inked a one-year contract with the Buffalo Bills on March 29, 2021.

His first touchdown with the Bills came in week 10 against the New York Jets, despite seeing little playing time owing to the availability of running backs Zack Moss and Devin Singletary.

Meet Mike Breida and Terri Breida

On March 2, 1995, Terri and Mike Breida became Breida’s legal parents through the adoption process. Both members of the couple were rendered unable to work due to ongoing health issues and separate vehicle accidents that occurred in 2006 and 2003, respectively.
