Matthew Connor Hennessy is a young center for the Atlanta Falcons in the National Football League (NFL).
Hennessy attended and played college football for the Temple Owls football. He participated in the 2020 NFL combine and was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft with the 78th overall selection.

During his high school career with the Ironmen, he started as an offensive tackle in his junior and senior years. As a true freshman, Hennessy appeared in three games and started one of them at left guard. He then sat out the remainder of the season as a redshirt. In his redshirt freshman season, he started at center for the Owls and played in all but one game.
