Max Stassi is a professional baseball catcher. He plays in the Major leagues for the Los Angeles Angels baseball team. He played baseball when he was in high school at Yuba City High School in Yuba City, California. 

During the 2009 MLB draft, he was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the draft. That season, he made his professional debut after he was assigned to play for the Vancouver Canadians of the Class A-Short Season Northwest League. The following season, he spent the season with the Kane County Cougars of the Class A Midwest League.

Max spent the 2011 minor league season with the Stockton Ports of the Class A-Advanced California League. In February 2013, the Athletics traded his contract to the Houston Astros. He was called up to the major leagues on August 20, 2013, and he made his MLB debut that year.

The Astros traded him in July 2019 to the Los Angeles Angels. In March 2022, Max agreed to a three-year contract extension with the Angels. The contract was worth $17.5 million.
