Arizona has re-signed nine free agents this summer, including star tight end Maxx Williams. He committed to playing with the Cardinals for a fourth season by signing a one-year contract with the team, and it is a steal of a deal.
Since he is a veteran, his salary is eligible for the veteran wage discount, which means he will have a lower cap hit than his actual compensation.
His annual salary will be $1.12 million, which is the minimum for his league. There are no assurances for him.
Although he will not receive a signing bonus, he has the potential to earn in excess of $150,000 in bonuses.
