The Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League’s roster feature tight end Maxx Williams in his professional career. He is 114 kg in weight and 1.93 m tall. As a student at Waconia High School, he participated in high school football. He attended the University of Minnesota after graduating from high school, where he played college football for the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
He redshirted his first year at the university, then in 2013, as a redshirt freshman, he started seven of the 13 games and hauled in 25 passes for 417 yards and five touchdowns. He had 36 receptions for 569 yards and 8 touchdowns by the time his sophomore season was up.

He suffered an ACL tear in Week 5 and was put on season-ending injured reserve. He had a productive season with 16 receptions for 193 yards and one receiving touchdown. In March 2022, Williams re-signed with the Cardinals for a single season. The day of his release was October 7, 2022. After three days, he was signed to the practice squad.
