On December 28, 1982, Michael Jefferson, a former wide receiver for the National Football League’s Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills, was born. He played college football at Montana State.

Jefferson attended Parkland High School. He finished his senior season with 60 tackles, two interceptions, two punt returns for scores, 10 carries for 216 yards, two rushing scores, 29 receptions for 954 yards, and eleven receiving scores.

The University of Arizona offered Jefferson a football scholarship, which he accepted. He had 16 receptions for 214 yards and two touchdowns as a freshman in 2003.

After the 2007 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys signed Jefferson as an undrafted free agent.
On September 1, he was released, and two days later, he was added to the practice squad.

He participated in the season opener before being released on September 8, 2008. He was re-signed to the practice squad on September 10. He was added to the Buffalo Bills practice squad on November 26, 2008. The 21st of May 2009 saw his freedom.
