On June 23, 2016, he signed a free agent contract with the Tampa Bay Rays after going undrafted in 2016. Brosseau began his professional career with the Rays of the Gulf Coast League.

Brosseau was promoted to the Bowling Green Hot Rods for the 2017 season after an outstanding start, where he led the Midwest League in average (.318) and on-base percentage  (.393).

He was called up to the Charlotte Stone Crabs of the Florida State League, which is in Class A-Advanced baseball, after another excellent stay.

Brosseau spent the 2018 season with the Montgomery Biscuits of the Southern League, the Rays’ Double A club. Brosseau was promoted to the Durham Bulls, the Rays’ Triple A club, to start the 2019 season.

Brosseau was leading the Bulls and the International League in RBIs with 57 before being called up to the Majors.

Brosseau was selected by the Rays from Triple-A Durham on June 22, 2019. Brosseau made his major league debut on June 23, 2019, hitting 1–5 with a single in his first at-bat.

Brosseau hit his first career home run on July 3, 2019, in a 6–9 loss to the Orioles. Brosseau hit his first multi-home run game on July 13, 2019.

Brosseau gave up one run in an inning against the Boston Red Sox on July 22, 2019, in a defeat.
