Michael Anthony Clevinger professionally called Mike Clevinger is a professional baseball player from the USA. He plays for the San Diego Padres as a pitcher. He was born on December 21, 1990, in Jacksonville, Florida in the United States of America. 

He attended Wolfson High School in Jacksonville, Florida where he played baseball for the baseball team. He then played college baseball at The Citadel and Seminole Community College. He also played collegiate summer baseball with the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League in 2011. He was drafted in 2011 by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the fourth round of the 2011 MLB draft.

That year, he was assigned to the rookie-level Orem Owlz. He was promoted to the Cedar Rapids Kernels in 2012. He was traded in August 2014 to the Cleveland Indians. The Indians assigned him to spend the 2015 minor league season with the Double-A Akron Rubber Ducks. The Indians promoted him to the major leagues in 2016 and he made his MLB on May 18, 2016.

The San Diego Padres purchased his contract in August 2020 from the Indians. In November 2020, he agreed to a 2-year contract extension with annual salaries of $2 million in 2021 and $6.5 million in 2022, with a $3 million signing bonus.
