Tight end Michael William Gesicki, also known as Mike Gesicki, competes in professional American football for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League. He is 1.98 m tall and 113 kg in weight. He participated in basketball, volleyball, and football while a student at Southern Regional High School.

His 1,817 yards on 103 receptions and 16 touchdown catches put him in first place among all Rams receivers in career history. From 2014 to 2017, he played collegiate football for the Penn State Nittany Lions at the Pennsylvania State University. In July 2017, he was added to the John Mackey Award watchlist, which is given to college football’s top tight end. In the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins selected him.

He was given a four-year, $6.61 million contract by the Dolphins in June 2018, which included a $2.88 million signing bonus and a $3.66 million guarantee. He ended Week 2 of the 2020 season with eight receptions for 130 yards and his first season touchdown. Although the Dolphins lost the game, it was the first time in his NFL career that he had over 100 receiving yards in a single contest.

He recorded five receptions for 65 receiving yards and two touchdowns in Week 14’s matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs. Gesicki concluded the 2020 season with 53 receptions for 706 receiving yards and six receiving touchdowns. He was given the franchise tag by the Dolphins in March 2022.
