Michael Purcell, a nose tackle with the Denver Broncos of the National Football League, was born on April 20, 1991. He played college football at Wyoming before being signed as an undrafted free agent by the San Francisco 49ers in 2013.
In 42 games (36 starts), Purcell participated throughout his four years at the University of Wyoming. With 197 tackles, four sacks, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries towards the end of his career.
